Miriam Galarza is a Peruvian Fashion Designer living in Europe. She has always been attracted by the Peruvian culture and history. In her hometown she has worked in different sectors of fashion: Retail, Styling, Marketing, Costumes and Design. Also she has worked and collaborated for different fashion editorials and campaigns in her city.
Miriam has travelled to different cities inside and outside her country. During her vacations of her professional career she has been living in Montana United States, where she met the Native American culture in art and fashion.
In January of 2018 in the city of Great Falls in Montana she put on display her Garments made by herself using Peruvian material taking as inspiration several elements of the Peruvian pre-Columbian cultures. She also collaborated as an assistant for a Fitting of a Native American Fashion Designer Belinda Bullshoe. This event and Miriam's displayed garments appeared in the newspaper Great Falls Tribune.
In March of the same year she was in New York where she visited several shops, museums and fashion schools to acquire knowledge for her career.
She had experiences in backstage assistance for Fashion Weeks such as: New York Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and Lima Fashion Week.
Miriam is a Peruvian Fashion Designer with a vision of making the world known about the culture of her country through her profession and the passion with which she creates her garments.
